Knorbu
I wish you were at the reception we went to last night. I kept having the urge to go outside for a cigarette ,,only I don't smoke! I didn't mind the volume or the music selection , it just sounded bad. I didn't even bother to see what equipment was being used. Glad you had fun Wuzzzer . kapsnb01
Glad that it worked out well for you wuzzzer! Do I sense a side DJing business in your future? [] Nice to run into some Klipsch guys too while you were there.
Moderators dtel Posted May 19, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 19, 2013 Glad to hear it went well, what did you use with the Chorus ? People usually don't go out of there way so if you got compliments they had to be really impressed. I bet the Klipsch owners that were there were surprised to see the Chorus playing. wuzzzer
I used my Toshiba HD-DVD as a CD player and my Panasonic receiver. Audio was high bitrate MP3 converted into CD audio.
skonopa
Several years ago, one of my friends asked me to DJ a wedding. I had a pair of RF-5s with a spare reciever. The audio was a laptop loaded with the MP3s. Also used the Mic-in to setup a microphone as well. That was fun, and I also had many of the guests compliment me on the sound and the quality of the music. Yeah, we were playing most of the "typical" wedding reception type songs like the electric slide, YMCA, etc, as well as I snuck a few 80's hard-rock classics that I wanted to hear myself (no, I did not play any power/prog metal - the wife-to-be made it very clear that she did not want that! [] [6] ). On the flipside, I was at another friend's wedding, and this time, it was ALL power/progressive heavy metal! (The guy is a guitarist in a prog metal band!). THAT was my kind of wedding! \m/[]\m/
