monoblocks vs multichannel

The Emotiva MPS-1 is a old 7 channel amp that had 7 amplifier blades. There is one for sale by me (in Seattle) for $1,200. It has been for sale for quite some time so he might take $1,000... Shipping would be a killer though, this beast weighs 115lbs!

sorry bill, the emotiva upa-1's. i have read many many places that they are a little more laid back and everyone felt they were a little better for music. so i am hoping this will even further tame the extra db boost on the high end from odyssey. plus if i ever end up with the same surround speakers as my LCR i should have a killer multi channel setup with perfect channel separation.

get 8 identical monoblock amps, tube if possible just make them identical on a simple lightweight 7.1 processor=heaven above or a dream idk has fresh silk lining feel in it and is unreal. probably a dream . . once its done hooked up is when one sees/hears the seperation in power . . . its basically in the lines of powered monitors. im sure you'v been there. well multiply this and and have the answer to the desired approach of seperate blocks
