tigerwoodKhorns
tigerwoodKhorns, No such thing as a factory Big Block 1965 Vette. Roger Been a long time for me. I used to know every bore stroke combo for every big block and small block and had 67-69 Camaros and 63-72 Vettes down cold on various options and differences between the years. I made the smart move of selling all of my cars just before the prices skyrocketed. If I remmeber correctly, didn't the designer (name began with a Z) refuse to put the old W motor (348, 409) in the Vette because it was too heavy for the power it produced, but he was later OK with the 427 because it produced enough power? jason str
"No such thing as a factory Big Block 1965 Vette" Roger They had a 425 bhp 396 cu/in option in 1965, 427 cu/in was first offered in 1966. True, there was a big block option in 65, the 396.
