X-Over issue

This has been on the back burner for far too long. I built a pair of cross overs for my LaScala that I hardly ever use, then I was lending them to a friend to use at his wedding reception and I had no output from the woofer. Swapped x-overs and the problem followed. I'm not looking at it right now, but I'm sure the only thing between the input and the woofer is a coil. Can a new coil be bad?

Can get a pic if needed.

Did he have music at the reception?

Check that the wires are all secure in the crimped connectors. The blue one on the right looks suspect.

Agree.

I use crimping, and it is on more than one connection I crimped the wire so tight I cut it in half, while the connection appeared intact.
