I understand that, but my question still exists. When you use a full reflector, you are narrowing the horn path at that point. What does that do to sound waves? I don't have an opinion or a hypothesis. I expect if you narrowed a musical horn somewhere along it's path there would be some kind of repercussion, but I don't know...
