emmvette
I want to buy an inexpensive portable speaker to use with my iphone and / or older ipod. Any suggestions out there? I'm not looking for awesome sound reproduction - I'll use my Heritage speakers for quality. I just want something that sounds decent and will have a bit more volume and better sound than the iphone by itself. If it had the option of plugging in and using batteries as a backup that would be even better. Any suggestions? I don't know what the going rate is for this, but lets say, not to exceed $100. $30 is fine, $75 is fine. Let me know if you have used something that you like and would recommend. Thaddeus Smith
I won the Klipsch KMC-3 in a Facebook contest. It's the best bluetooth speaker I've ever had for such a price. (it's a pretty good deal @ $400 as well)
Administrators Chad Posted July 10, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 10, 2014 You gotta get a HORN! No batteries required. More We used those "horns" in swag bags last year. Funny stuff, actually kinda works. Goofy as all hell though.

The sound was not good so I ask to hear the Bose Sound Dock. This is a nice little box. It goes for around $

derrickdj1
The KMC 1 was at Tiger Direct in Orland Park, IL. It had a horrible ground loop hum/buzz so I could not accurately judge the sound quality. My wife is not into audio so the Bose is fine for her and easy to use.
