Porn_Star
i am currently running a ksw-15, and 2 rw12d's. while i like the sound now, they take up a whole lot of room. the 15 really is carrying 90 percent of the weight. id like to sell all of them, hopefully i can get upwards of 700 for all 3 subs. what recomendations do yall have for my rf7 system? room is 12x20x8 i sit about 10 feet from the speakers. Scrappydue
Depends on movies or music, listening levels, and expectations. Also wether you wanna buy new or used or if you are willing to DIY something??
Porn_Star
Both music and movies. stupid high listening levels. id consider diy. and mostly used. subs can get crazy expensive. Edited July 17, 2014 by Porn_Star
K5SS
If you can get $700 for all 3 subs, are you willing to add money to that? If so, how much are you comfortable spending?

I was trying not to add any, but I could go as high as 1000.
derrickdj1
Two subs for that room seem about right. Try-http://reaction-audio.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/bps-212-turbo-powered-subwoofer They have a dual 12 in for $ 499. DYI subs if you really want the room to shake. Build 2 Dayton Ref subs from Parts Express.
K5SS
If $1000 is your maximum budget, I would pick up a PSA XV15se or a a Reaction Audio PV 15x. If you could bump the budget up to around $1,200, there are even better options out there. I am going to agree with Scrappy though, DIY is probably your best bet with "stupid high listening levels" and a $1,000 budget.
CECAA850
Reaction Audio PV 15x I'm really hesitant to recommend a start up company's product. Seems more often than not they go belly up and leave customers holding the bag.
K5SS
AV123 and Epik sure did end up screwing a ton of people over but I have been following the Reaction Audio threads and it sounds like they have their stuff together, they are even offering free shipping. PSA is offering a 45 day free trial with free shipping right now. Edited July 17, 2014 by K5SS

PSA I wouldn't be too worried about with their history with SVS. They know how to run an internet based business. HSU has been around a while also, they make a great product and have really good customer service.
derrickdj1
Two VS 18.1's would certainly do a job on that size room but, I don't think they have any left at $500 each. The newer model is almost twice as much, with pretty much the same performance. The only thing is that these are large subs.http://www.data-bass.com/data?page=systems&type=
Scrappydue
Ugh I just wrote so much but my phone erased it all when I went away for the page for a minute. So to sum it all up. Have a read here: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/155-diy-speakers-subs/1534711-video-subwoofer-build.html Go with the mini Marty flat pack vertical. Get an inuke 3000dsp. Get an si 18 at the pre order price right now. And you'll be right around 7-800. The amp will have enough juice down the road when you add a second as well. Unless you a build a horn sub yourself you WILL not find a better sub for the money. Inuke 3000dsp-279 on amazon Si 18 dual 4 ohm 162+25ish shipping Mini marry vertical flat pack 250 delivered. Either duratex of black paint to finish. 700-800 for a killer LOW tuned ported 18" sub.

Scrappydue
how much do those subs go for normally? last time before they sold out there were going with free shipping but there were 239$ what finish is on that one super shiny black enclosure? I'm guessing a hand rubbed high gloss back finish. very time consuming to do, but doable. watch some videos on it on youtube. if it interest you then go for it. I'm wondering if you could use an amp then? i'm guessing you are talking about the 7ii's start to sound crappy? i'm betting they are starving for more power

The 18" with an Inuke will fit your budget nicely. Scrappy, is your MiniMarty build done yet? I always thought the best guy to consult when doing these projects is someone who had completed theirs a month or two before I begin. Where to buy the Mini Marty Flat pack As an alternative, I might suggest a flat pack from DIYsoundgroup. The CNC cut flatpacks are easy to assemble and the fit is precise. The guy (Erich) who sells this next flat pack (link below) is in the not-for-profit business, and the value from his products is beyond belief. http://www.diysoundgroup.com/ported-subwoofers-1/18stonehenge-substructure.html Edited July 18, 2014 by wvu80

My thoughts lately is who would I sell my sealed enclosures too without woofers? So lately I have been thinking of just buying another amp for now to give them more power and then possibly buying 4 more sealed enclosures and 4 more subs right now while they are cheap. Bass I Love You can seriously damage your speakers if you are listening at reference levels, especially if they are not receiving a proper amount of clean power. Based off your signature, they are not..
