TasDom
Question? Statement? Would make it a lot easier for others to help you if you phrased your post correctly and stuck to one thread. Good luck!
willland
Rf-42ii for surrounds? Did you mean, RS-42II's for surrounds? If so, then yes. If you can afford RS-52II's, then go for them. Bill

willland
Nah......... methinx he's asking about using the floor standers as side rear speakers. And yes if asking about RF-42II's for surrounds for HT, providing you don't mind your surrounds about 6 inches below your ear level in your seating position. Scrappydue
I had a real good conversation with him on the 62 vs 82. But yeah I'd say quite a few new topics that could easily be asked in an already existing thread swa99
swa99a
Ok, my bad guys. I should have just shared my thoughts in the same post, but I just got so many questions, wanted to be specific on what I had to ask . I enjoy feedback, and every ones different opinions. Scrappydue
Change one of your thread title to questions about my new obsession and keep it in the home theater section. When you ask it will sit at the top And that title will get people to click on it for sure.

swa99a
Am I missing out , if I don't get a reciever with wifi?
Scrappydue
I don't have a receiver with wifi. I do have one hard wired but it's not the end of the world. And go to your first post, hit edit, scroll down and hit full editor and then click on the title and change the name then save it.
derrickdj1
You are not missing anything if you don't have WiFi and just hard wire the avr, BDP or TV to the system. I use something like this on the BDP downstairs and upstairs:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=15&sp=&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All+
swa99a
Onkyo vs yamaha just not sure. Really leaning towards the last year's or this year's onkyo.
Scrappydue
I'd take onkyo anyday over Yamaha. But I'm very keen on audyssey. So I also like denon and marantz
Shodrewken
I've had good luck with all the Onkyo's I've owned! +1 for Onkyo
swa99a
It seems like every one is doing their own thing with audyssey. While I'm totally new to recievers, onkyo just seems appealing to me , but so does yamaha, and I m still thinking about denon 3000 w , not so much marantz and don't know why ; I probley should. SO these are my choices . ONYKO tx - nr 838 , Yamaha A 840 , Denon x3000w. And I would gladly appreciate and feed back pro cons , experience whatever yo got thanks guys
swa99a
My bad I meant denon x3100w
Scrappydue
If you can afford the 1000$ price of the x3100 your WAY better off getting the one year old x4000. It has much superior audyssey and better specs all around.
