what town are you in? Don't think he is in Chicago?

I'm in Fox River Grove. Unless he changed addresses, he's on Pyott Road in Crystal Lake. Opus, you should remember these, you told me to forget about the Industrials I was going to buy and refinish, you said buy these, stain them and be done

don't stain them they look much better RAW and after 10- 20 yrs they turn to a beautiful yellow pitina

 

people put walnut stain on them its looks like hell, of course thats just me

The raw does look very nice.  The cane grill look great with the raw.

I think the factory birch stained lacquer looks very nice, especially beside my walnut Cornwall, Belle and Klipschorn.  :)

 

I still would love to get a pair of walnut La Scala II though.

I sold a pair of RB Heresys I bought new in 89 last year. The patina looked great, the first thing the guy did was put a belt sander to them, it took the patina off. he was going to stain them. I had to deliver but he paid $650 so I was OK with it
