timdog5000
http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ele/4816696439.html Hadn't heard of these before, I emailed him and told him I may be interested in four of the subs. After looking at them online if the pics I'm seeing our accurate I would not have any room left for furniture or myself :-)
Chris A
MWM bass bins aren't what I'd call subs (-3dB at ~50 Hz), but they are of the most impressive and open-sounding bass bins, stacked in pairs on each side under K-402s on top, that you could ever hear. I just spoke with the gentleman and he has quite a bit of equipment coming and this is phase 1 of three so he will be inundated with speakers. Very knowledgeable guy. Quiet_Hollow
If I were a first-time La Scala buyer, I'd be all over those 525's. Cool price. Now where's those burning man fellas? The ones that were hoarding all the MWM's on the west coast last year??

timdog5000
So what is his name and #, Tim? His name is Tim also, if you don't mind I would like to ask him before I give out his number I don't think it will be a problem but I don't want to be responsible for giving it out without his permission. I do realize he is trying to sell things on craigslist but don't want to be presumptuous, I've decided I may take two of these 15's and use them as a TV stand in between my RF-7ii's I realize they don't go as low as a home theater sub but it should be pretty big impact any suggestions or comments anyone? sheltie dave
I thought it would be Kresco. You should see his warehouse down in Crestwood, it is quite stunning. Don't forget our Festivus party in January, Tim. Hope you can make it!
Rivervalleymgb
http://www.hps4000.com/pages/speak_index_.html Looks like copies of Klipsch for each speaker, John Allen designed. Since they have been around for a long time and they look like Klipsch designs, I wonder how they got around patent infringements. Looks like they had a Jube clone in 1981??? sheltie dave
He worked for Klipsch before he went out on his own, and he went after the commercial market. PWK was almost all about the home market, and Allen had a lot of good will built up while he worked for Paul. Plus, Klipsch was making a decent profit from what they sold to Allen.
