Attached is the one which is second on the USPTO site. You can search to find the other two if you're interested. There have been what I'll call "rumors" for some time. I was orderd to get a cane after arthroscopic knee surgery, but it sits in a corner unused, as does my handicap parking permit. A walker is still in the future. Nonetheless, I agree with your premise. My firsthand experience with Heathkit dates to the 60s. After my father dropped the second Heathkit color TV we built, he plugged it in to see if it still worked. It didn't. It was then my task to drive it to Benton Harbor, MI so Heathkit could repair it. In addition to the demographic issues, the economics of kits don't work in the era of Cinese chip amps.
