The History Kid
Actually the first gen reference number is what didn't make any sense. The 3? 5? 7? 3 = 2 8" and a 1" horn. 5 = 2 8" and a 1.75" horn. 7 = 2 10" and a 1.75" horn. Then the RF-10? 2 4". lol

Still had a 1" compression driver. Just so you know.
The History Kid
Thus why I said it was a 1.75" horn, not mentioning the driver.
Scrappydue
Thus why I said it was a 1.75" horn, not mentioning the driver. but it doesn't have a 1.75" horn. It has the same 8" horn but with a 1" throat.
khactuyen
Why KLipsch do not make a bigger center (woofer about 8 -10 -12 inch), today alot of ID make Center is better (and better) than KL did (as JTR, Triad, PSA...). I think Center has 2 big woofer is better than 4 small
Gorm
Prime Baby! http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Special-Reference-Flagship-Floorstanding/dp/B00P8BFDVW Probably still too much per speaker...but does include free 2 day shipping. LOL Interestingly, the Walnut is cheaper than the black and Cherry on Amazon... Edited January 12, 2015 by Gorm

I think Center has 2 big woofer is better than 4 small The RC-7 was an 8" center. I haven't done a listening comparison between the 64 II and the 7. Some tend to believe that the RF-83's are just as good as the 7's (triple 8" vs. dual 10") - The principle there may potentially be the same as with center channels. I've used quad-woofer center channels before, even much smaller ones than the RP-440C...and they hold their own pretty damn well.
moray james
Thus why I said it was a 1.75" horn, not mentioning the driver. but it doesn't have a 1.75" horn. It has the same 8" horn but with a 1" throat. I may be wrong but I was under the impression that the diaphragm of the compression driver is 1.75 inches the exit to the compression driver and the throat of the horn is 1 inch and the mouth of the horn is 8 inches. Owners please correct me if this is incorrect. Best regards Moray James.
