harmony08 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 http://springfield.craigslist.org/ele/4984936135.html I'm interested. Does this sound like the right price? Quote
CECAA850 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Pristine maybe. 400 wouldn't be a bad price, especially for black. Maybe offer 400 and meet him in the middle. Quote
harmony08 Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 https://springfield.craigslist.org/ele/4973962317.html these are $360 ... I am guessing this would be closer to the right price? If so, I am going to try to wait patiently until something comes up locally....Otherwise, I am in for a long drive. The Cornwalls I found in OK City for $800 are really nice, but out of my budget range - sadly. Quote
CECAA850 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 If they're in excellent condition at that price, go get them NOW. Don't think about it if this is what you're looking for, just tell them you're on your way with cash. 2 Quote

So many of us focus on which speakers to get, when a good deal comes along we procrastinate trying to save a few bucks, then the good deal is gone. I've lost out on things because I didn't take that advice. Quote
harmony08 Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Thanks for the replies. I've contacted the seller. Let' see what happens next. 1 Quote
finallygotmyheresies Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I think they are worth it if you will keep them as is. If you want updated speakers add $150 for new diaphragms, another $60 for crossover upgrade parts but more if you cannot DIY. So with the typical upgrades these will cost you closer to $700 or roughly half of what you could pay for a new pair shipped to your door from an authorized dealer. current examples http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Heresy-III-Loudspeakers-B-Stock-Pair-/371283753098?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56723c788a http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Heresy-III-Floorstanding-Loudspeaker-One-Pair-BLACK-Open-Box-/221688547163?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item339daac75b http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Heresy-III-Floorstanding-Loudspeaker-One-Pair-WALNUT-Open-Box-/391121531346?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b10a8f1d2 I hope this helps Quote

I haven't procrastinated, I bought them. So your advise to me has changed? LOL Mark Quote
