I think they are worth it if you will keep them as is.  If you want updated speakers add $150 for new diaphragms, another $60 for crossover upgrade parts but more if you cannot DIY.

So with the typical upgrades these will cost you closer to $700 or roughly half of what you could pay for a new pair shipped to your door from an authorized dealer.

Dave, I believe you told me to STOP buying big speakers in a PM. So I have been running across a couple deals along the way. I haven't procrastinated, I bought them. So your advise to me has changed? LOL
