K5SS
I sold both my black pairs of RB-5's for $220 and they were near mint.
Gorm
I sold both my black pairs of RB-5's for $220 and they were near mint. Black is...Black. The most common color and pretty much all you see today. Other finishes usually go for more in the Klipsch speakers. K5SS
I would think condition would be more important than color. I loved both pairs of the cherry 63's I owned though.

If you're trying to match a set though......I'd rather have an slightly scratched mahogany speaker to match my other mahogany speakers. Rather than an perfect condition black speaker that doesn't match my mahogany speakers. Now, with that said, those two mahogany speakers didn't even match. Serial number OR shade of mahogany color. mwells
I didn't get them. They were gone before I saw the listing but I have read a lot of very positive reviews on the RB5's. I am sure the buyer will be very happy with them. Edited June 4, 2015 by mwells

colterphoto1
That mahogany is about the sexiest Reference finish going. I'd love to have a pair of these. Fortunate to have oak RB5 and owned the maple RB3 at one time.
The History Kid
^ I currently have a pair of RB-5's in Mahogany that were Gorm's, and a pair of Cherry RB-3's. They are indeed a sexy finish!
