Thanks to Chad for the Solid State Forum

I personally hope to see Klipsch-related SS amplifier help topics for newcomers, intriguing new SS designs and technologies that are relevant to Klipsch loudspeakers, and perhaps DIY solid state amplifier projects.

Thanks Chad!

Chris, do you feel like Rocky did after he defeated Apollo Creed?  This is indeed nice to see.  Of course you realize that eventually the design guys on here will have to come up with a collaborative DIY hybrid amp optimized for Klipsch speakers!  The output stage will be the one to have tubes, needless to say!!! :D

I look forward to reading about all the new SS technology which I haven't paid much attention to in recent years.  I'm sure neither Chad nor Klipsch will regret the decision to add this new section.

The creation of this forum thread is a great idea, all of my other forums have component sections.
This is why I came here, to talk speakers/components/electronics/hobbies/music/Cables.
I run SS, always have, will throw in my two cents from 50+ years experience when I can.
Good job Chad, for listening.

The SS subforum is not about any one individual's needs but the needs of the entire Klipsch forum readership, IMHO.  When you also consider those that have yet to join and contribute to the forum that may now own something other than Klipsch, having an avenue of approach that appeals to the widest audience is important to the future of the company and its current customers/enthusiasts.  Doing well in the future is not simply an extension of the past, regardless of what some talking head might have you believe.

I've found that the investment in the future is usually a function of how the rank-and-file of the organization and its engineers, manufacturing personnel, sales staff, etc. can invest the time and energy of the organization for the future.  This is usually not the top of the organization, which for most corporate entities is merely interested in short term profits and getting enough money in their personal stock options to set them for life.  This has been my experience.  This forum represents an asset to the company that it can use for its future, if done well and right, producing higher quality forum posts meeting the needs of current and future customers.

So I see this subforum as a win-win-win for all including the company and its employees, and even for those enthusiasts that prefer other kind of output devices, i.e., non-solid state.  ;)
