wvu80
Nice stash of drivers, Moray. They fit several popular models, I'm guessing you have a broad audience which might be interested. GLWYS
moray james
Thanks Dave: the hope is that there are happy Quartet, Forte ll and Chorus ll owners who would like a perfect matched horn for building a centre channel. I bought five because I had planned a 5 channel HT at one point and wanted all my speakers to match.

jimjimbo
Moray, perhaps you could explain exactly what it is you do to the drivers with the Dynamat and felt, that would make it easier for others to understand the process and benefits. moray james
Greg: these drivers are the same as the ones that are in your speakers. Yes you could drop them directly into Quartet, Forte, Forte ll Chorus.Chorus ll etc. I modify them with dynamat on the back plate and on the pole piece and on the diaphragm butterfly I also use F-11 acoustical felt to damp cavity resonance. If you want to go with titanium diaphragms then you could send those to me to work on and fit to a set of motors. The result of all of this is a smoother cleaner sound with enhanced detail and much improved composure and authority.Hope that helps.
