Pristine audio, good cabinets.  these are not in living room condition but certainly pass for game room or bedroom condition.  Sound is exceptional. both sets upgraded with oem HIII upgrade kit.

1 pair lacquered walnut with brown grill and HII emblems, $550 for the pair.

1 pair walnut with new black grills and HIII emblems (grills shown on this set, not the ones you'd get), $550 for the pair.

pick up only, Bourne, MA

So basically, a person could have plywood cabinet Heresy III's for $550?!   Even with the condition that is excellent
Maybe you know more about his specific speakers than I do but not all HII cabinets are plywood construction.

Only Heresy I's were plywood if I am not mistaken.

I wish I could sell as such, but, these are not plywood.  Also, each pair is similar in vintage to each other and were purchased as pairs, however for they no longer carry their s/n tags and cannot be confirmed as brother/sister speakers.

These pairs are for a buyer that wants to listen to beautiful music, not a buyer that wants too look a showroom cabinets and brag about consecutive s/n's.

Thank you all for looking

I've had 2 pairs of round terminal cup HII's and the were both plywood. The square terminal cup HII's I've had were all mdf. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying all round cup II's are plywood nor would I feel comfortable saying that all square cups being made of mdf.

Good luck with your sale I'm sure they sound great!

Sorry about me muddying the waters with not 100% accurate information.

Sorry, I wasn't aware any HII's were MDF.

My HII were plywood round cup and I upgraded them to HIII by carefully cutting the round hole to fit the rectangular terminal cup and still maintain a good cabinet seal.

So these HII's are mdf.  Just to be clear... are these the rectangular terminal cups?

Great sound!

One pair is round cup, one pair is rectangle cup.  I believe the lanquered set with the brown grills is the round cup.  There is not an issue with the seal. the new xo cup covers nicely.

IMO, it is this new xo that makes all the difference.  Thus allowing the Ti diaphragms in the tweet and mid.
