dtr20
I took apart my academy center channel the other day and noticed that the magnet on the tweeter horn came off. (I haven't been using the speaker). Is there a special adhesive to get this back together properly? I can put it back on, and it stays fairly well, but a lot of movement may bump it off. Thanks for the help, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

dtr20
it looks like they used epoxy or something that is dry and crusted
jimjimbo
I honestly don't think that what you use is all that critical. Just carefully and completely remove all of the old stuff, and apply the new. Let it sit for at least 24 hours.
jason str
That is just a bucking magnet, not really needed unless you have an old school CRT type TV.
JohnA
It looks like a bucking magnet to me, too. It was added to confine the magnetic fields to a small volume so it won't mess up the picture of a CRT monitor or TV. I wouldn't bother to glue it back on. Use epoxy if you do.
