Moderators Travis In Austin Posted April 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2016 I'll say, Enegizer Bunny times 10. Was he excited about his crate, or was that a normal show? Handsome fella.

Wolfbane
Or I guess that is him after getting out of crate He was in it for a few minutes on his own before this, just checking it out. Door wide open the whole time. He went in of his own free will. Our last Bichon would also do the mad running, growling and barking it seems to be a voluntary, routine part of a Bichon's day. He does several times a day and is doing it again right now.
wvu80
Glad the crate worked for him (and you!) It sure looks like Oliver needs his daily walk though! Maybe throwing the ball with him? I bet he would love to play "chase the laser pointer."
Moderators dtel's wife Posted April 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2016 We have a MinPin that exhibits that same behavior. He runs just like that, all the while jumping from sofa, to chair, to floor, to ottoman and circles around again and again! It's crazy. He only does it a couple of times a week now, when you least expect it, for no apparent reason.

I bet he would love to play "chase the laser pointer." Likes to chase and fetch his 1/2 tennis ball and his stuffed flamingo and will do this all day if he could. Other than when were visited daughter no. 1 in Kingston, Ont in the late February -45 degrees C weather when he was 3 months old he's been getting 3 short walks, plus two long walks per day, Works out to 5 to 7 kms/4miles each day. In the desert heat (here) we carry bottled water for him everywhere.
