But we both know the secret to enjoying our biking experience is to share it with friends. I agree. Many times fellow racers and I would do what we can to help get one another out on the track (road race tracks). When the green flag flew it was bare knuckles up and earn what you get, but never to deliberately hurt anyone. I'm sure it was the same in what you race.
Seadog
In Sao Paulo Brazil, there are thousands of motorcycle couriers called motoboys running around everywhere. They all ride like the guy in the first post, and on average, three are killed every day.
Woofers and Tweeters
During Daytona Bike Week and all year long everywhere, there are countless bikes stolen. In a lot of these videos, many of the bikes that are being thrashed and trashed have no licence plates. Just sayn'

Rxonmymind
I was commuting to work one day and on the freeway next to me was a guy on a motorcycle. Doing 70 mph he pops a wheelie to stand up and shake his legs & back out. I just shook my head.

True story / sad story: a friend of mine was at Bike Week walking around checking things out. Seen a bike go by that was customized like his. Got back to where his was parked to find it was gone. wvu80
I've been to Daytona Bike Week. I saw the road race and the motocross that was setup in the RR infield. I always wanted to ride the official Bike Week hare scrambles which is run through a swamp and has a lot of sand riding. That's very different from the tight woods and moist soil I was used to. Daytona Beach itself is 22 miles long and it is unusual because you can drive on it. One of the coolest things is to see a virtual parade of bikes riding single file continuously for hours on the beach. The line of bikes seems to go on forever.
CECAA850
I lived in Daytona for 6 years and worked all the races from the 400, 500, bikes and 24 hours. So many great memories. The only thing I hated was the traffic for all the events. It was always horrible.

Woofers and Tweeters
One is from Daytona, 2006. This was my mechanic, my driver and my sponsor. He bought the bike, trailer, leather and all the support equipment, paid for the gas, hotels and everything..he even was the racer. A great guy I tell ya. He won the race at Daytona that day. He had 5 Ducatis, 4 Susukis, several Hondas and one Buell keeping him honest.
