Had that Hocus Pocus on 8 track. Focus are pretty cool...Nils Lofgren the same.

Thanks for the memories. Corea fusion looks cool also. Like other's choices here

better than some of my standard fare. Entertained here.

An interesting and fun album to me for what it is. Snippets of the artist recordings with quick on to the next snippet of song. Beatles on one side and Soul, Rock, etc. on the flipside. An unknown band doing the transition at times between song.

Anyone living through the 70s and 80s had to have had Neil Young as a favourite artist

I myself was a roadie for my friends band ( he was the drummer and the best man at my wedding )

They specialised in playing sets with Crosby Stills Nash -  Neil Young and James Taylor songs

That and the fact that I lived in a beach town was very influential in my music listening choice

This has to be a generational classic album

Artist - Neil Young

Title - On The Beach

And although its not on this album - my favourite song is Alabama ( it's to do with a girl I fell for ;) )

And just to keep things interesting

This band has a warning - Now Don't Blow Your Speakers Out

Aussie Hard rock - 1974

Artist - Buffalo

Title - Only Want You For Your Body

Music style is a mixture of Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep

I was given this album and this is the first time I have played it

Don't know much about the artist but it is a soundtrack ? I think ?

Artist - Terence Trent D'Arby

Title - Neither Fish Nor Flesh: A Soundtrack Of Love, Faith, Hope And Destruction

The scull and crossbones on the record label hooked me to give it a spin

This American band from San Fransisco only released 2 albums before disbanding

The style is prog rock with an outer space feel all blended with Jazz Fussion others describe the style as Art rock

Artist - Automatic Man

Title - Self Titled circa 1976

This version in my ownership is the Embosed cover

Tonight I am listening to some ambient / experimental fare

However I would class it as prog

Artist - Synergy

Title - Cords circa 1978

This is a transparent record - Canada Import

I personaly prefer the Audion album and will spin that another day

@dirtmudd should know about Larry Fast - Working with Peter Gabriel

Who hasn't  had Joe Cocker touch his life with a song just right for the occasion

Absolutely love this album and every track on it

Sang a few to girl or two back in the day  ;)

He was playing in my city but canceled so I missed out on seeing him live

Artist - Joe Cocker

Title - Cocker Happy

I played a record that was purchased today

May I say that it's a simply superb album if you like progressive music

Artist - Bill Bruford

Title - One Of A Kind

May one also say that this album needs to be in ones Bruford collection - it's that good

Doing some furniture moving today,  and needed my audio fix tonight

Spinning a record I purchased at the record fair

Artist - Peter Gabriel

Title - So

You all know I like Genesis and associated band members

Seen a video a while back about how this album was put together from Peter Gabriel's ideas that were put down on cassette tape
