Geo Bachelor on a Thursday Night

The wife is in Korea visiting family...

The kids are at UIL competitions for the weekend...

I am off until Monday (and NOT on call)...

What to do??? Like me think...can't, need a cocktail.

Got it.

Tunes? Why not.

Mr. Barcardi and I thew up a Spotify list. My bud barcardi (note the lower case) threatened me if I went for the tubes. Did I tell you that I have been home ALONE (miss'em after an hour) since this morning?

I might be having a flash back thanks to one of our recently retired forum buddy in the great northwest. I enjoy his musings and I took the ones he questions as humor in my twisted way. Carry On!

oh, to the tunes:

I went conveniently LAZY without getting off the couch to switch speaker inputs so...
McIntosh MX151 pre pro (using the Mc internal DAC)
Mc MC8207 amp
nVidia Shield steaming from my QNAP NAS over wired Ethernet

Mr. Alvin Lee playing The Bluest Blues

The pre pro reads 53% volume
The amp meters are a steady 20 watts and just occasionally flash a 200 WPC

Two of the front three CORNWALL III throwing it out to me at 14'

The Rat Shack analog at C Slow showing a steady beat of 100 - 104 dB
gotta go, my little empty rum glass be empty mate

one intentional mistake and many unintentional I'm sure

I had no idea, if you listen to the news you would think nothing is being done over there.

Do something just for you that you normally wouldn’t with the family around....

Our birds are heavy already with electronics so we can only carry about 3500-4000 lbs of supplies which is all hand loaded up the ladder. Preflight, load, fuel and a 3+ hour transit to land, hand off load the supplies and then take off and hover around doing air traffic advisories to the military helicopters coming off ships. When fuel is at Bingo fly back to home, repair the aircraft and go again.

Take the evacs to local lodging in new to them S. TX and promise that they are not forgotten.

Doing a propeller change in Puerto Rico due to leak was problematic. Added an additional mechanic to the trips to help out but that just shortens the home crew doing the turns at night.

The boys are doing good, haven't missed a mission for over 45 days and counting. No such thing as weekends..... I am a wussie so I took a couple of days.
