DizRotus
The Stones’ AARP tour plays at Ford Field tonight. I trust their performance will be much better than the recent efforts of The Detroit Lions in that venue. The following is excerpted from today’s Detroit Free Press: “Guitarist Ronnie Wood, in town for the band's Monday show at Ford Field, led a Stones entourage of about 30 people to the Motown Museum, touring the original headquarters of the iconic record company and taking photos on the steps of Hitsville, U.S.A.” Accompanying Wood were Chuck Leavell, new drummer, Steve Jordan, and others. The article described Wood as acting like a kid in a candy store. Chuck Leavell took a seat at the Steinway Grand (restored by Sir McCartney in 2012) in Studio A and launched into My Girl. If only to be a fly on the wall.
