Looking to fix the pocket clip on a Parker Jotter/Vector pen

I have Parker ball point pen that I have a very long history with: 29-years. In the colder months I carry and use it every day in my coat pocket.

 

The pocket clip is slightly bent outwards and I'd really like to fix it. I've tried to remove the clip from the pen barrel but it won't budge.

 

Any ideas?

Is the clip on the cap, or fixed to the barrel on that model.

 

I’ve got a vector fountain pen that I’ve had for nearly that long that my mom bought me.

I’m kind of attached to it as well.

Well this may not be a Vector, but from the pictures I've looked up, the design is similar.

grabbing right up next to the tight bend in it with the smallest pair of needle noise pliers might allow for bending back to original angle of that tightest bend.

You can probably bend it back to at least regain functional use if you are careful.

Use something like an Allen wrench to get the correct size leverage between the clip and the barrel.

 

then carefully bend the clip down to the left and right past the barrel.

 

if you are careful you should be able to get a snug fitting clip.
