Erivera1990
Greetings! I recently got rid of my Vintage Klipsch La Scala due to lack of room ( I'm still heart broken), I need something "smaller" like Fortes or Chorus. After doing several hours of looking for an alternative and research I decided to stick with Klipsch... I have had Klipsch since day 0, Rp-160m, Forte ii and La Scalas. Since I had forte ii ( Crites ti tweeters and recapped crossover) I know how well it sound. I recently discovered Chorus which they're bigger. Looking through FB marketplace there's a seller with a pair of Fortes ii ( recapped and ti tweeters) for $850 (one hour away from me). Also there's another seller with a pair of Chorus i (all stock) for $1,600 ( three hours away from me). My question is am I going to notice a huge difference between speakers? Is worth it pay more for the Chorus i plus upgrades? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated! Thank you in advance Happy holidays! YK Thom
Here is something to give you a rough idea. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Klipsch+Chorus+vs+Forte&t=newext&atb=v247-1&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DnWHa9EMZbbI
Erivera1990
@tigerwoodKhorns roughly 16x20. @YK Thom thank you! I watched and I feel Chorus ii sounds slightly more fuller.
tigerwoodKhorns
16 x 20 is a good sized room. What was the issues with La Scalas in there? In any event, the Fortes are a better deal if in good condition. I just restored both and they are identical except for the woofers and crossovers. Buy the Fortes and add a subwoofer, or you can buy the Chorus, which will work well in your room, but still get a good subwoofer.

Erivera1990
@tigerwoodKhorns I moved with my girlfriend and she has furnitures, tv, lot's of stuff, plus my stereo we barely would have room to walk lol. In pictures the fortes look pretty clean. I will attach some pictures, also someone closer to meis selling a pair of Chorus ii, none consecutive serial number, crites crossover and ti tweeters. The only downside, the previous owner (according to the seller) painted them black (they were originally black), and the rear passive woofer is dented. I will attach few pictures! Erivera1990
@OO1 what would be a fair price for a pair of Chorus ii? I don't want to pay too much nor low-ball the seller. The Black ones that o just uploaded have ti tweeters and crites crossover, crappy paint job and dented passive woofer lol

A nice clean pair in NM condition about $1,800.00 give or take, depending on local market.

Tx @John Chi-town @CWOReilly Chorus II , wow ,if he still has the Klipsch Original parts , you want em with the deal , 1300$ sounds really good , but 1400$ - 1500$ is fair .
