Dennis M
I have a set of KP 201 speakers, used in a Church. One is perfect, the other cuts out badly. What could the problem be? How can I get it repaired?
Moderators dtel Posted July 28, 2023 Moderators Share Posted July 28, 2023 Welcome If it were me I would first open it up and clean all connectors, unplug one at a time and clean the terminals. I say this because I had a driver cut out as you said and the terminal looked perfectly clean and was tight but somehow did not make a good connection. I guess it was some form of film on the connections and even know they were really tight to get off it was not making contact. After cleaning it has worked fine and never had another problem. It's a a cheap/free way to rule out something simple.
wuzzzer
First I’d swap the speaker wires to make sure it’s the speaker not the amp. Then I’d check the fuse in the one with the issues. After that, open it up and check all internal wiring to make sure everything is connected properly.

Maybe later versions used a PCB?
