Dustin B
http://www.acoustic-visions.com/everest.htm 23.5" x23.5" x48" made from 1.5" thick mdf with 3/4" bracing finished with your choice from 13 species of wood veneer, 2 Tumults, 4 18" passive radiators and weighs in just shy of 400lbs. No on board amp. Add appropriate pro amp and parametric EQ and you have one badass sub. Let me know when Kyle gets your order Ears and I'll have him email me a few pictures of it before he sends it out to you and I'll host them for you. prodj101
this is something I'd really like to see pitted against the SVS B4 sub. personally I think the everest would come out. man thats a beast, dual tumults.
formica
Does anyone know the shipping status of NON-preorder tumults?... I'm just curious especially after the fuss over shipping delays for the pre-ordered units. I do believe everyone from that batch has received theirs. pinipig523
thats not any regular sub, thats a beast.
elgrillo
400lbs!!!!!Holy. Put that sucker in your living room and if your wife doesn't like it tell her that she need to move it herself Hmmm that would be an interesting battle with the B4plus. I nominate Ears to do the review and give me the loser
J. Gary
That's more woofer than the Iditarod!
Dustin B
Another interesting point. Just the two Tumults weigh more than most subs (96lbs).
TheEAR
Not bad,not bad.I would like to see a three way comparo just for the heck of it. Krell MRS/SVS B4-Plus/Acoustic Visions Everest The everest would probably come on top,in output it should top the charts. Now take the Krell amp to power the Everest and BOUM a KILLA GORILLA
easylistener
That does look like one hell of a sub. How much power can a trumplet handle? How much power would it take to get that thing rocken.
InnovaZero
Good heavens...my SunFire Signature is weeping in fear. That thing is a monster!
prodj101
I think the everest would make mince meat out of the krell mrs.
prodj101
man, that thing is just terrifying.
kenratboy
Holy crap dude, that thing is just wrong Did you get two? I heard only having 1 was kinda weak
Dustin B
Tumults power handling is 1600W RMS. In a smaller sealed enclosure it can use it all. In this enclosure 1000W per driver would be oodles.
TheEAR
"Good heavens...my SunFire Signature is weeping in fear. That thing is a monster!" Think of this THING as a Monster Signature on illegal steroids. Me thinks,ME MUST ORDER ONE and a B4-Plus.ME MUST ME MUST just for the heck of it.And end up using all my Sunfire subs as PC subs. Sweet At around 400lbs for the Everest and 200lbs for the B4-Plus shipping will be expensive,but...what the heck. These tweeters are air movers and can double as fans. Good they have a new series(3 models)using the massive Tumult I would like the sealed model for my PC.And the prices are very good, wow I am impressed here. SVS and Acoustic Visions deserve respect.I must I must get these gems

michael hurd
Iditarod is the famous dog sled race held every year. I believe it is held somewhere in alaska. Nome ? If I recall.
