Ive been offered a set of Klipsch Cornwalls . The paper tag on the back is scratched but what I can make out is CD BR 10R517.

Any thoughts on age and Value . They are asking $500.00 . They do sound amazing !!

As he remembers he bought them in 1977. All thoughts on these are appreciated.

is it possible   ?   that  the  3rd digit of the serial numbers  is a letter , either B or S   rather than the digit  8

Klipschorns of this vintage had the s/n hammer stamped into the tailboard, woofer access door or inside the woofer chamber.

I was finally able to get inside the speaker to look for a #.  It appears to be stamped and says 225-01  and, is there something after??

Please let me know what this stamp means? Here's a pic..  Thanks!  The speakers I'm referring to are Klipschorns.

these stamps are  plywood manufacturer  batch numbers   ,  and no , these speakers are not  klipschorns , they are home built speakers using  a DIY drawings kit  .

Serial number lookup is a useful tool for identifying the authenticity and details of products, especially in industries like electronics and machinery. By entering the serial number, you can access information about the product's origin, warranty status, and manufacturing date. This ensures transparency and helps avoid counterfeit goods. Hiya!

I have 2 RF7's and an RC7 that I bought brand new (maybe 15-20 years ago?) I'm curious about the manufacture date, and what they may be worth. I have ZERO plans to sell these as they have been my constant companions.

RC7bk - 04390062

RF7bk - 04450093

Both were inspected by Barbara Miller (just in case anyone knew her :)  )
