3dzapper
I am high bidder on this right now (blackwatch26). Looks like a great project and match for my "new" LC-21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3075601507 Rick
jt1stcav
Electric_twelve just beat you out of first place, but not to worry...ya still have over 6 days left to battle it out. Good luck!
jazman
3D, Why are you shooting yourself in the foot by bidding so early and driving the price up? Klipsch out.
Tom Mobley
3D, What jazman said. Why on earth would you want to encourage that guy to help you bid up the price? Here's the One True Path of Least Expense: auctionsniper And after you do that, resist the temptation to repeatedly go back and check on it, thereby driving up the views counter and letting them know how interested you are. Do they need to know that? No, they don't.
Audio Flynn
I have tried to enroll in auction sniper 4-5 times in the past 2 weeks and it says my E Bay ID and passowrd are invalid. Anyone else had this problem. I have been an E Bay member for 15 months so it should not be an issue.
garymd
It worked fine for me. Try bidnapper. Works just as well and you get a free trial period also.
Guy Landau
and why don't you buy the 265A instead. It's much better amp and is cheaper to run. The metal 6L6's cost peanuts and so are the 5U4's. They look cool too. Eventually, someone will end up with a 208 that cost him more than this pair.
Tom Mobley
Audio Flynn, Have you logged on to ebay manually recently? If windows remembers your password for you sometimes you get out of sync with it. Otherwise, I would email their customer service, probably some bug in their stuff. NOSValves
The 265's would surely be much better amps but cheaper you could buy 3 lifetime supply of tubes for what the 265 costs over the 208 ??? I wouldn't pay much over $200 for a 208 !! I have one that I love but its not all that just the power section of a 299C no more no less !
