I would like to purchase them locally, as opposed to the internet. This guy came down about 10% of their posted prices (Audio Express). john4618 Posted April 14, 2004 Share Posted April 14, 2004 Depends on if his posted prices are the same as the list prices. If it's 10% off list prices then I think you can do better. For example, when I bought my RF-7's from Good Guys I got them for $849 each, which is 23% off their posted list price of $1100 each. Hope this helps. I have gotten 4 pairs of speakers, 2 subwoofers, and 2 center channels online and never once had a problem. Thats what I would do if I were you. After goodguys 10% discount they are $2,384.95. What the guy quoted me on the speakers from Audio express was $2,400. Now, does goodguys normally come down more than that? I agree with the others - go authorized dealer for the warranty but a little haggling is not out of the ordinary - especially for the number of speakers you are buying. get a price you're happy with and don't look back.
