artto
For a good laugh, follow these instructions exactly. 1) Go NOW to www.Google.com 2) Type in (but don't hit enter): "weapons of mass destruction" 3) Hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button to the right of where you've typed in -- don't hit the normal "Google search" button. 4) READ CAREFULLY what appears to be a normal ERROR message. Make sure you read the whole! error message. Someone at Google apparently has a sense of humor. Try this soon, before someone at Google fixes it! chuckears
Hate to break it to you artto - this has been there for about a year now... But you're right, it is freaking hilarious... and the great thing is that it is still relevant, even after more than a year of searching... But I should probably avoid dragging another thread into that particular minefield... I would hate for our gracious new moderator to have to start deleting threads already
damonrpayne
Well regardless of what side of the political fence you're on, I haven't seen that before and its pretty funny!
toddvj
You can also type in "miserable failure," Hit "I'm feeling lucky" and see what pops up.
gtDark
For those that don't know, you can also try the same with "French military victories" and click the I'm Feeling Lucky button.
picky
Entering "our next president" takes you to John Kerry's election site. Hmmm....Could there be just a slight agenda here?
skeptic
None of these messages are put there by the google staff. They are simply "google bombs". A large amount of blogs (typically) link a word to a website address (like "no highs" to www.bose.com), then google picks up the tons and tons of links with that word and assumes it has high relevance. The "feeling lucky" button just takes you to the first page returned. Nothing new, just kids with too much time on their hands.
