Gilbert,

The Dead have a live album called "Steal Your Face" with that skull design on the cover. It later became the most common Grateful Dead emblem/bumper sticker/tee shirt/etc. The lp wasn't even that good!LOL You've probably seen that round sticker on cars a thousand times but never gave it a second thought. Now you'll know.

Thanks Marvel. I just couldn't use that face anymore!

Yes, some of you may find out at the gathering. I'm not sure if I can make it Saturday, but if you come by during work hours Friday, I'll be here.

It must be a learned moderator to know the Pure Prairie League.

From the LP "Bustin Out" as I belive.

Three of my friends did a top nothch version of this song live in the 70s.

PPL never made it as big as Poco or the Eagles; but they did have a devoted folowing in Country Rock in their day.

I have painted Raw Birch Heresy's and Cornwall's Black so I don't see what the big deal is. The white ones don't look that bad.

On another note - speaking as a fellow Deadhead a friend of mine almost talked me into letting him tie-dye airbrush those aforementioned speakers. I was very tempted but then the buzz wore off 1.gif

Laters,

Jeff
