BEC
I get these things all the time. I give this one a D- for believability but reading it did give me a couple of good laughs. I left off the bogus link the thief wants me to click. Dear eBay User , After fraud complaints from the eBay members, the eBay Inc. had developed a security program against the fraudulend attempts of accounts thefts. For that we have to securise all the members informations by updating and checking the registrated informations. Please update your information by completing the form from the forwarded link so we can check your account validity and your identity :

SteelerFan
The sad part is there are still those who will fall for it.
Fish
Just wanted to throw a few stats,10 million ID thefts per year, average cost $500 out of pocket and lots of time and trouble. Also 7 of 10 thefts are done in an office/work setting, sorry to say but watch your neighbors. Daddy Dee
Bob, Thanks for posting this lame attempt at Ebay ID theft. Might be the same loser who was arrested up at Rosebud for counterfeiting $5, $10, and $20 bills.
