HD cable service

Recommended Posts

check to ensure your locals do not already broadcast in HDTV....then all you need is HD receiver and antenna.....which is what I do...except I am using a direcTV receiver which will also receive OTA HD signals

Also..FOX is not a true HDTV....and they tend not to have much HD material...

CBS....has a bunch of HD material and is worth it just for the MASTERS and the NFL playoffs in HDTV...

Good luck

In addition, it's my understanding ESPN is not true HD but

upconverted. If you are only (really) into NFL then a over

the air receiver is your best bet. My brother in law had COX

HD here in Tulsa and ESPN was not as good as CBS. Fox is suppose

to go HD this fall but time will tell. He was paying around 90 per month

and was dissatisfied. He finally returned to standard Dish Network.

Adelphia has a grand total of crappola for HD. The worst cable company on the planet. Hope they close down the bastards, but it doesn't look like it'll happen. There is a sat service called VOOM that has 30 odd HD channels.
