gullahisland
Just posted for sale on AudiogoN. Check out this crazy horn-based system, complete with homemade wires, custom-built 300B amps, etc. Very tweaky, quite UGLY but probably sounds FANTASTIC! He's selling the whole lot for $12K. Not sure he's gonna' get it, but it's an interesting system and well worth the look. http://www.audiosold.com/sale/sale.htm

Parrot
I'm not surprised that he'd want to get out from under a SET-based system. Still, some neat stuff there.

D0N
what a bunch of hodge podge homemade stuff. Even if it did sound good and he paid $20k or more it isn't going to fetch $12k.

nicholtl
Geez Louis, even for someone as tech-minded as an audio engineer or designer, you'd think the word "aesthetic" would come in somewhere.
Wardsweb
FYI - the system sold at the $12K asking price. Not by me, but the owner Mike Morrow says it's sold pending receipt of the cash.
