chuckears
...that is, according to a seller of a pair of white LaScalas, recently put up for auction on ebay. I emailed him (her?) with a courteous correction, along with a request that the listing be updated with said correction. A pretty nice pair (if you could stomach white... I'm in more of a black phase myself); but I hope he doesn't expect to come within even 25% of what he thinks the retail is...
Daddy Dee
Yep, I doubt they'd bring $800. Well, what IS the retail on Scalas? I think $7500 is what I hear for Khorns.
m00n
Wow, I'm guessing a typo? I would hope that someone would not be as bold to try and sell scalas for 8 grand.
Frzninvt
Retail is ~$4,000 for La Scala's.

boomer9911
OUCH...nice chunk of change, here in Canada comparable, Khorns list around 12,000 - 14,000..you got cash 10K even...new..... Scala's list $9600, buy, around, $6000 plus appropriate taxes etc..IMO..Canadian $..
Frzninvt
I emailed him as well, no updates or changes, some people just don't get it. Should report it to eBay for false information, he has the wrong specs as well(stolen from the Klipsch website for the Khorn it appears). I provided him with what drivers they really have but they must be ignorant.
hellofavalve
I have always liked the Lascalas but they are well out of my price range at $8000. I will look into Cornwalls. How much do they run? $4-5K?

filmboydoug
They are beautiful speakers tho. Was that brass an option? Maybe a custom shop order?
PAR69
In the Atlanta paper today, someone listed a pair of Cornwalls for $999. I almost choked on my coffee I guess people think the used speakers are worth as much as what new ones cost. I guess they don't know what cheapskates we are.
