anarchist
Jeez, Get this Consonance M100/40WPC (factory model not an Ella kit - more inputs and better value) for now. It is very, very good and upgrades are possible. I have one and there are more than a few reviews touting it (of course, not many on here have seen or heard one.) Put the remainder of your money in the stock market; be diligent or lucky, double your money, and if you think you need more at some point, buy a Blueberry and VRD's. No need to swap gear in and out a la "The Dean Exchange". Edit: Oh yeah. It is better looking than most gear, can be used as an integrated or solely an amp with some tweaks, and does 50WPC with 6550's. Game over. Allan Songer
The last time I changed the amps and preamp in my main system was during the Reagan administration.

Audio Flynn
The way I listen to music, the stylus would never stay in the groove. Been there done that and I ain't going back to it. Perhaps insulated with block walls.
