colterphoto1
I believe that the last letter designates which vendor manufactured the product. The specs from Klipsch and performance should be the same. For instance my 63 Cornwalls have K33J, which is the Jensen made model. wrench_peddler
So would the K33b be the Bose model? :-)
Daddy Dee
Wrench Peddler! Brother, I've been wondering where you've been. Good to see you posting.
colterphoto1
Bob, do you do K34's. Was just reviewing some of my CWII literature and the unit with K57's (like mine) also is shown as using a K34, not K33 woofer. Just wanted to see if this was in your bag of tricks yet. BEC
Michael, Really don't know anything about the K-34. Bob
Frzninvt
The K-34 is identical to the K-33 with only only difference being that it has a smaller (not as tall) decorative cardboard trim ring since they are designed to be flush mounted in the CWII cabinet otherwise they are the same. If need be you can use a K-33 in the CWII but the trim ring will stick out some. Strangely enough I think that the K-33B was made by CTS (Chacag Telephone Supply)
Budman
the B stands for Brownsville, Texas CTS of Paducah, Kentucky stands for Chicago Telephone Service
IB Slammin
Anything on the K-33P? Saw a pair (first time) last weekend. '75 CW's, square mags, dark basket. Thanks, Terry
Budman
P stands for Paducah, KY i have 71, 72 and 76 corns all have the letter P on the woofers
BEC
Then K-33E would be Eminence, KY? How about the K-33M? Bob
Budman
E is Eminence, KY never seen a post on here about the letter M
Budman
i'm guessing the M is for Magnavox. in his book on page 116 he said an early driver was a Magnavox, then we went to Jensen and then to Stephens. after that came EV and then to CTS of Paducah and then Eminence

Always thought that CTS produced in those years. Terry EDIT: My '73verts & '75horz are K-33E... Interesting that another '75 (within just a few months) would come from Paducah. All were ordered from the same town in AR. CTS must have been cranking them out at the time. Regards, Terry
