Ding ding ding! BINGO!

Too far to drive, too long of a ride to take a train. *SHUDDER* at the thought of taking a bus.

I'd love to meet you all, would be great times... But I just got to get my nerve up to fly... I'm still looking for that nerve. I lost it somewhere. 2.gif

Please come to Indy, I am sure many many people would love to meet/ see you here too!

I could send stats on how safe really flying is. At some point you know you probably will have to fly anyhow.

Besides, I wanted to show you the Home Theater too!

Moon...

Depending on your concerns (like fear of heights), FWIW I'm more comfortable on larger-size planes, in an aisle seat as far forward as I can get. United has some Airbuses and 757s connecting through Chicago -- get to PDX nice and early for a 6:00 am Airbus to Chi and connect with a 737 (which I prefer to a Canadair) to Indy. Reverse for returning. All non-stops. My $00.02.

Hmmmmm....that sounds a bit "cozy" there skonopa. Maybe you could fly out to m00n's place and you could escort m00n on his first flight.3.gif3.gif3.gif

Better yet, Amy will put you up at her house...

Na... She'd be all coming on to me and all that... I wouldnt want to be the "other guy" in her marriage. I'm not a home wrecker by nature.

Also, another reason, I just haven't saved up the money for the trip. If I had, i think I would somehow find it in me to enour the mental hell for a few hours.

Come on mOOn.....

Becky was not into flying, but went with me to Hope on the first tour.

I let her sit by the window. It was her first time.

It was one of those 50 seat jets.

She was wired.....but after that flight, she has had more air time than I have, she loves to fly now.....10 1/2 hours to Carolina....or 1 1/2 on a plane...I hate the long ride in a car...life too short

So suck it up and get out here........

FWIW m00n - I've done a fair bit of flying both as a passenger and as a pilot. And while I love flying an airplane, flying as a passenger can be a PITA. Nothing like being the aisle seat in a 3 seat row with a couple sitting next to you that weigh in around 320+ pounds each! Or having a kid behind you kicking your seat. Or the chattie next seat passenger. Or watching the guy in the next row over, at the suggestion of his therapist, tear up paper over & over & over & over to calm his fears of flying (I kept one eye on that joker the whole flight).

I've got the solution though and it would even make flying safe from hi-jackers/terrorists. When you go thru the metal detectors/screening thing you get knocked out. Then you get stacked on the plane like chords of wood. Once you get to your destination, they wake you up. 6.gif

m00n,

PLEASE!!! Get ahold of yourself.

You can fly roundtrip for less than three bills. Just throw it on your plastic. The drinks are on me.

I can't man... It's because I got too liberal with my plastic that I'm in the shape I'm in and that Klipsch is in the shape they are in. 2.gif

I DO HAVE ONE REQUEST THOUGH!

I'd like you guys to do one favor. That is hook up a set of these RB75's.

RB75_300.jpg

And a set of these my beloved RC7s and have a shootout.

RC7_300.jpg

and tell me what you think. I want to know if I'm just looney, or do you guys feel that the RC7 walks all over the RB75s. Stand the RC7s up on end, give them a little breathing room... Set them up fairly. I'm very curious to know what others think.

You fly up to PDX and meet me at the airport. I'm thinking about it. It's a long flight from PDX. It was like 6hours 33 minutes.

Even considering this, my heart is just pounding.
