Rear loaded transmission line is nothing new, but, to make it in cheap plastic and sell a radio for close to 4 bills, priceless. Watch out, BoZo thinks nothing of suing anyone who disagrees with them. (Insert slanderous remarks HERE) Rick

Speedball
My Uncle bought one and did not like it at all. He couldnt hear it very well without the tone controls, like what's on the Sony. .....lol...lol...lol...It did look like the inside of someones stomach. I have heard the larger more expensive model and it sounded like a plastic boombox.

Mark Hardy
Not to stray too far off the topic, but... If you all would like to hear well-implemented TL-loaded bass, you should seek out and listen to a pair of the original DCM Timewindows or any of the IMF speakers. A TL is a good way to get remarkable bass from a small driver, but the TL generally has to be pretty big. The IMF Super Compacts that I have are somewhere in-between. The cabinet is small but the woofer is fairly large (8"). http://imf-electronics.com www.t-linespeakers.org
Colin
You need to look at the patents and lawsuits, not the marketing hype to see how they protect a common practice such as the folded horn design
