D-MAN
Andy, your pic didn't load properly. Try saving it as a .jpg file and then try again - that seems to upload fine. DM
Dylanl
Nuther. Does that look like an 18" woofer to you? The cabinet proportions are such that I am thinking that is an 18. These pics come from a Russian website. DM Very nice. Seems to have a modern look. Wonder how that horn would sound? Odd flare.

D-MAN
All I can see is a little box with a red "X" in it! DM
DrWho
:scratch head: I can see it. Here's another one. You can see it because the picture is linking to a file on your harddrive...the file needs to be uploaded to the internet in some way in order for everybody else to see it. In other words, don't hit the "insert picture" button in the toolbar above....scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the "file attachment" at the bottom. Click on the browse button to find the file and then the picture will get uploaded when you post the thread. The picture will then show up at the bottom of the post after it loads (so if you see a picture inside the box you type your message in, then you've probably done something wrong). The insert picture function in the toolbar is merely a convenience item for inserting pictures that already reside on the internet (it has no function to upload the picture). If you are talking about the pic DMan posted, that seriously looks like a JBL 2397 horn (Smith distributed source horn). Supposed to sound very smooth, with a wide horizontal dispersion. formica
Okay... I found this Fane design. It looks a lot like an LS with a longer, bigger horn. Interesting in that it's only about 18-1/2" high... compared to laScala's 24". Anyone know how it performed? Bass extension?
jwc
Dug up this thread. Has anyone heard the fane design or have more info on it? By the way, there is a bass reflex cabinet on Ebay that is pretty interesting. California folks may want to check it out if you want some collector cabinets. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5842702882&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=

jwc
Very nice. Looks like your port in the front. Curious on how the side port would function?
ajsons
Here's the Ultraflex with dimensions, from Cohen' book.
ajsons
The EN-15 has a horn port, or a port horn..whatever, which improves not only the lows but the the mids as well..
