Some great monoblock amps

OK, gotta ask: How are your records organized? By genre, then artist? Composer? Random (like me)?

Do you mean that you are random or your record collection is randomly sorted?

In the early '70s I was playing guitar and Dobro fro a brother-sister

duo. Went to an apartment after a night recording and this guy had a

vinyl collection about twice that in Charlie's pic. I'm suprised the

building didn't collapse and fall into Lake Michigan with all that

extra weight. [;)]

Thanks guys. Well the Khorns are 20 feet apart and my chair is about 16

feet away. The records are not in any order but hopefully I can talk my

daughter and some friends to do it over x-mas vaction. Ive been saying

that now for 6 years since we built our new house. There is a little

over 5,200 records on the front and rear walls. I have more in the

spare bedroom/office. Some are in bad shape and should be weeded out

but I'm 35 and have been buying records since I was 13 and it's gonna

be tough getting rid of any. Most are in great shape though. The room

treatments on the front wall are from GIK acoustics. They work great

and are priced right , I think.

I agree in that you have a fantastic record collection.

I have a pair of Ampex 620 monoblock amplifiers. They have both been redone with all new caps and a new valves. They were rated from the factory, (sometime about 1958 as far as I can tell) at 12 watts each. Paired with my "New" McIntoch C11 that Craig has completely gone through for their forty four years service, they sound wonderful with my LaScalas and a Sunfire true sub.

I love the set up,

Regards,
