Doc Robin
Just saw a set of Black Belle's on Audiogon in Little Rock. I dont think they will go for the price he is asking that black just does not look as good to me as a finished pair. Bill

seti
At first I did not think I would like the black Belles but they look classy.

Doc Robin
Black should only be for the industrial models; the black LaScala's I had sounded great but the wife hated them from the moment she saw them. Those dreaded words came out of her mouth: your are not keeping those in this house. I dont have a doubt that the black Belle's sound great. They would be great in a dedicated HT; but would not look good in the great room. Bill
meagain
I like them. I think this is the first pair I ever saw. Sure beats raw birch low-grade plywood that's only suitable for painting. Course, I've not seen raw birch in Belles either. IDK why.

Course, I've not seen raw birch in Belles either. IDK why. Belles were never made in birch. Black Belles can look great in the right environment! They were going for more than that a few months ago.
