Well, we have a big transformer, a set power diodes with a big heat sink attachment bar and a relay. We also know that the transformer is loosely coupled to give it inherent short circuit protection. Really that only would build one thing that I can think of.

The arc welder guess was pretty good, except the amperage isn't high enough for that. So....

How about a 48 volt battery charger? I really thought someone would get it by now. Probably the cedar crossover board got everyone off in the wrong direction like I planned it to do.

So my guess is that you have a golfcart.

Why yes. I bought a 2002 Club Car 48 volt cart with a good charger just to have something to try this out on. And that is the truth. Is Bob crazy, you might ask? Probably, but the Club Car charger retails for about $700.00 and there is no aftermarket replacement made for it right now that just plugs in and works. There may be one soon.
