Coytee
I presume many here might know this already, but I've not seen any mention (yet). http://www.howtobeamegastar.com/dates.php For ANYONE who is near a show and not familiar with BMG, I really urge you to go see it. My guess is, the concert is/will be the same as their dvd but I don't know that to be the case. It did say they were touring with Tracy Bonham who IS on their dvd. You will walk out of the show with a guaranteed smile on your face, as well as a bit of shaking your head, a bit unsure of what exactly, you just experienced. Coytee gives them [Y] [Y] [Y] [Y] [Y] five thumbs up!
Arky
I once punched in their dvd for a quick listen & just couldn't get my arms around it...think i'll try again.
Coytee
As a "first sample" of that dvd for someone, I'll usually go to near the end and play a (gag) Donna Summer song "I feel Love" which is sung by ... uh... oh, "Venus Hum" as I recall. The girl has some lungs! She does a very good rendition of the song (which otherwise, I don't much care for) and the band & light show during that song is right up there with the best of them IMHO. Cute hula-hoop dress too. Then again, a beginning to end listen is good too []
Arky
I'll try that, thanks.
oldtimer
Closest they get to DFW area is Bossier City, La. Dang! It's not real far, but pretty far to go for a concert and back.

Arky, BMG may need to "grow on you". Once they do, you will really enjoy listening to them. I am with Coytee, every time I watch the DVD I wonder "what did I just see". FYI, all ages in the house seem to love them. Maw Maw who is 73 thought they were very entertaining. Buddy and Allie who are 6 and 5 respectively love for Paw Paw dtel to play BMG and the twenty to thirty somethings really like them too. It is not a DVD concert we watch "all the time" but nonetheless IMO, it is one of the better recordings, both audio and video.

It looks as though they will also be coming to the Beau Rivage Casino on the Gulf Coast. That would be a really nice venue, it's not too large and would be a great place to see BMG. Moderators dtel's wife Posted January 4, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 4, 2007 They will also be in New Orleans on April 17!!! I didn't realize that until I scrolled down the page further.
videomagician
Here's a group that the drummer also plays in BMG and the bassist is in the East Coast touring version of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. ZO2 Check out the "Temptation" mp3.

Doc Robin
They will be in Little Rock; it's been awhile since we have been to a concert; just might have to go to this one. Bill
DrWho
BMG was just on campus some few weeks ago...apart from not having time, I couldn't afford the $60 tickets! [] Seemed a bit strange for campus town, but the place sold out. Assembly Hall isn't exactly a small venue either...

Dj_Double_S
What an interesting group with an interesting sound. Always kept up with the group but never had the money to travel to their venue citys to see them. With that said tickets went on sale two hours ago (which I purchased four) to see them in knoxville this coming saturday. Any person with the love of music would have to appreciate these guys talents and their instruments.

Bill Bill - are they playing Alltel? If you click on Coytee's link at the beginning of the thread it gives you the entire schedule. But...be sure to scroll through the entire schedule, because New Orleans was close to the end and I missed it the first time. Arky, are you having a change of heart about BMG?
