Coytee
Does that mean you have a few screws loose, Coytee? []
rigma
Dean, I am also splitting the LF & HF xover to separate boards, one each side of top plate. rigma
Deang
Thanks Richard. May or may not have to split the network, or course I'm just now getting ready to do a layout to see. Real nice work on those Jubilees. I wonder why ours don't look like they were all shot up with a machine gun -- what happens here, are all those screw holes actually get filled before painting/finshing? Has anyone mentioned how ugly that horn is?
kaiser SET say
Has anyone mentioned how ugly that horn is! Only about a zillion times now but I think they are very cute[] Rig, each time you post I get more excited so I know you must be feelin' it[] Exceptional work Sir[Y]
Coytee
are all those screw holes actually get filled before painting/finshing? Has anyone mentioned how ugly that horn is? They're not screwed like Marion's. If no one else has yet to say how ugly the horn is... I will...
Deang
If no one else has yet to say how ugly the horn is... I will... We're waiting ... How come the screw patterns are different?
rigma
If no one else has yet to say how ugly the horn is... I will... We're waiting ... How come the screw patterns are different? Just to throw you off! Actually I had a couple screws strip because I had the clutch set on my new drill to high so I added more. Hey I like overkill. I wouldn't want them babies to shake apart. rigma
Deang
Obviously Klipsch is building them wrong. I had a feeling about that.
rigma
Obviously Klipsch is building them wrong. I had a feeling about that. Now Dean, I did not say that.[8o|] I have been working on these a couple months and profit nor price point is an issue.[:$] I would hate to see what they would have to sell for with my overkill touches.[] rigma
rigma
Also I had a dream and in it Roy the "bad cowboy" told my to add them sticking screws![bs] rigma
Deang
I was kidding Marion! I saw that most of that followed the pattern of the woofers, so I figured it was probably T-nuts or extra screws.

Moderators Travis In Austin Posted March 25, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2007 The Jubilee is 41.5" wide and 24.5 inches deep. Bob, Coytee and Dean: How far are you running these speakers from the side wall and out from the back wall. I read with interest Bob's comments about losing the "one note" effect when he brought them out from the wall. Just wondering how much room these baby's need to breathe. Edit: I forgot these were corner loaded until I read through the rest of the threads and so the great photos. How much low end do you lose if they are on a wall but no corner? That is the most amazing thing I have every seen. To start from scratch and build from plans is quite something. Travis
