customsteve01
In the RF83 room upstairs in the afternoon, Caroline and I had to leave to go do the blind A/B tast. Well when we returned everyone was talking about a group that we missed hearing that was really good. Picky, Verna, Coytee and others were in the room. The name of the group had something to do with phlegm or something like that. I was just wondering what the group and album name were so we could check it out. customsteve01
Ok, so I got the name way off. We have Film and the BB's But which cd should I get. Seems like the most popular or maybe newest is Tricycle. Does anyone know what was played at the pilgramage? Steve
picky
Steve: I just bought a used copy of the CD from Amazon. It's Flim and The BBs, 'Big Notes' album. The song is named "Funhouse". The album is no longer produced but Amazon has numerous used CDs available for different price ranges. I paid $4.50 plus $1.50 shiping and my copy arrived in perfect condition. "Funhouse" is all done in midi on a Windows PC but the rest of the album is all done with live instruments and live musicians. It's really quite listenable and I would consider it to be Smooth Jazz. The group has 4 members and their claim to fame is having written the theme to the daytime television soap, "All my children". The CD is worth getting, especially at those prices. customsteve01
Thanks Glen, I guess amazon is the only option to get it. I looked and there was one for $6 something + shipping. The funny thing is if you google the bands name you get very few hits on them. What a day I am having at work, I will be glad when its over. Did I mention that today is my VACATION FRIDAY [] I am out of here for 12 days. just have to make it till 5:00 Steve

Steve Steve, Make sure you spell the name right when you Google it... It's FLIM, not Film.[] I got well over 10 pages of hits. Bob
customsteve01
Thanks Bob, I never noticed I was spelling it wrong. DDUUHH!!! Well at least now I don't feel as bad thinking it was Phlegm. It is, but not spelled that way. Steve

Q: Where can I get the AMC theme music?A: The old AMC theme is on an album by the group Flim & The BB's called "This Is A Recording" and it was written by Billy Barber. It's pretty much identical to the long version that sometimes plays over the closing credits of the show.
theplummer
The last time I checked, I just typed in Flim and the BB's on AOL search and it took me right to AMC website, Flim page, I believe you can buy them direct.
