picky Posted April 6, 2008 Author Share Posted April 6, 2008 Updated this year's AK Fest location. It's been moved to the Embassy Suites Hotel in Livonia, Michigan. It's only about a 20-minute drive via freeway from our house. That hotel is already booked-solid but I can recommend other places to stay. That hotel is located in a much safer area than the old location, so most accomodations in the vicinity of that event should be a good choice. There are also plenty of choices near our house around Allen Park as well. There is a Comfort Inn close to my house I can check on rates for if someoine is interested. Also can provide shuttle service from the airport I am only 20 minutes away. It will be very informal. My theater system is a 7.1, RF-7 based, Solid-State setup powered by a Pioneer Elite VSX-49TXi Flagship receiver (130 Wx7). It's my 2-channel, Heresey III system in the garage that is powered by tubes: a 1961 EICO-ST70 integrated amp (35 w/ch).
