mdbrien
How hard is it to replace the diaphragm in a K77 tweeter? Would I need any special tools?

Daddy Dee
It's really not tough at all. I've done it, which is proof about anyone's grandmother could do it. Bob Crites explained it all to get me through it.

fenderbender
I thought a tweeter diaphragm is a very small avian birth control device!! In that case you would need a very small pair of tweezers .....[]
Klipschguy
I've done it. Not hard at all. You just have to pay careful attention to each step. One thing I might add to BEC's excellent instructions: If you don't have a desoldering tool, you can clean the old solder out by running a soldering iron heated straightened paper clip through the hole. The old solder will stick to the paper clip as you gently push it through leaving a fresh path for the new lead. Andy
colterphoto1
If you purchase replacment part 127126 from Klipsch Parts, it's a NO SOLDER fix. 1-800-554-7724

Fenderbender, Refering to other threads on here, some may need very small tweezers anyway, without remotely having anything to do with our feathered friends!!
