BS Button
Smells like my solid state amp just got a tiny workout, finally. I'm somewhat impressed at the longevity of the listening session. Most times, I'm only good for about 30 minutes to an hour. A lot beefier speaker than I had previously imagined. More mellow and laid back than the Corns, I'd guess. What else should I be noticing? Tell me... BS
cjgeraci
Having owned both, I would not call the RF-7s more mellow and laid than the Corns. Are you sure the horns are functioning on the RF-7s? Carl.
SWL
I own three pairs of RF-7's......and I love them. I've heard the Corn's on a number of occasions and find it kind of odd that the 7's sound "more mellow and laid back than the Corn's". What were you powering both speakers with? Same or different room?
BS Button
Just that I can stand a bit more volume on the 7's before it morphs into just plain loud. Corns have more impact and they get loud, faster. No doubt, the RF-7's require more power in my mind, but they appear to stay together with that additional volume More controlled bass on the 7's same room, same position, same power
Deang
What else should I be noticing? Tell me... Less distortion.
jacksonbart
More controlled bass on the 7's same room, same position, same power I agree
capo72
It seems to me that with 7's, the louder they get - the clearer they get. Jeremy
BS Button
One thing is for sure in my book. Low volume listening.... Corns[Y] RF7's[Y] LaScala's[N]
